Rod McLean and Jason Jones have been building pools together since 1999. Absolute Installations has built thousands of pools in the greater Charlotte area and has worked with several local retailers over the last twenty years. Rod and Jason created a dedicated and efficient team of pool builders, many of whom continue to work for Hydra Hot Tubs & Pools today.

The Hot Tub Loft

In the spring of 2006, Clay Norman took a job as a Web Graphic Designer with Bullfrog Spas, a portable spa company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is where he met and befriended Peter Steiner. Peter had recently taken a job as the National Sales Trainer at Bullfrog, having sold hot tubs all over the world since 1993. This friendship would turn into the Hot Tub Loft, a hot tub sales company in the Southeastern United States.

After years of Absolute and Hot Tub Loft working together, both companies saw the benefit of opening a retail store combining years of experience with a variety of services and products. Hydra Hot Tubs & Pools opened its retail store on January 1, 2018 in the Fort Mill Business Center. Hydra Hot Tubs & Pools offers above ground pools, hot tubs, pool and spa supplies, Big Green Eggs, hot tub services, hot tub moving, above ground pool installations, and above ground pool service. We do everything in-house, which makes us a unique business.

Please stop by and visit during our Grand Opening/Customer Appreciation Day, April 12-14, 10AM-6PM. There will be food, drinks, music, games, and door prizes.
